When I saw Gaye had committed I said Whats Going On., how do you know.

Then someone said I heard it throughthe Grapevine.

Aint that peculiar, i thought.

Once it was confirmed all i could say is I"ll be doggone.

How sweet it is.

Quinnen Williams also needed 3 years before he could be a major force.

Which is why we’re signing a mix of JUCO and other linemen.

Anywho, the big fish on the line aren’t popping until later. We need depth at DL and it’s not realistic to expect 5 top flight DL to sign

Looking back at the past few classes I just hope more than one top flight DL signs with LSU. Two highly ranked DL guys would be an improvement.

I must be a 56 year old teenager, then. And one who thinks Bama’s 5 stars will run roughshod over your “guys who want to be Tigers

There have been plenty of 3 star players make an impact here at LSU over the years. I'm sure some of you have no problem bashing them. The coaches see something in Gaye that they like.

Tell that to Clemson.

If we were signing a whole bunch of JUCO guys and had a lowly-rated class, then those of you complaining might have some grounds to gripe.

In a class that's #2 in the country, this is a case where you shut up and trust the staff's evaluation. Welcome aboard, Mr. Gaye.

Is it bad I don’t trust meatball? I know he’s supposed to be a disciple.

I agree. He has a lot of potential, but he plays straight up and seems a little slow. With right coaching, I think he could contribute but he has a lot of work to do in my opinion.

Careful! A voice of reason gets thrashed on this board.

So would he potentially play this coming Fall or is he part of the 2020 class?

Are you sure Meatball has enough clout to get who he wants? I’ve got to believe that Ed still calls the shots on DL recruiting.

I hope Ed does. But it hasn’t shown against Bama. Maybe he will change with this class.

That #2 ranking is such because of skilled positions. We need lineman and good ones its been a while since we have recruited well on both sides of the line plenty of reason to not SHUT UP. I like CEO but we need to recruit some studs.

We already have 18 committed and many saying Domio as well. And you want to add another 9? So which 3 currently committed are we dropping?

Big need for someone a little more polished than most HS seniors. Losing Fehoko and Rashard is tough so I like this pick up
