I saw him play in person last season. His body control, size, and athleticism are off the charts for someone built like he is. He was a dominate player. Huge get for LSU.

I wonder if this is a slight edge for Max in the QB race? To keep his baby brother. I know Lanard Fournette was promised a scholarship. If Leonard came to LSU. PACKAGE DEAL.

I am super excited about Jake Johnson.
My only concern is if Nuss ends up starting next season that his brother doesn't leave if Max needs to transfer. I doubt he would.

Agreed. The 9 jersey shouldn’t be available for much longer. However, if it’s integral to signing Jake it can wait. Dude has skills. Glad to have him.

FIRST: You don’t set your starting QB based on an uncertain scenario to receive a TIGHT END recruit.
SECOND: Jake could play for about any team he decides to on his own merit. The same could certainly not be said for Lanard.
