So are OSU fans going to freak out and have disaster syndrome like when we get high profile commits?

Don’t care till papers are signed

he can’t play his season at Catholic and transfer in December to graduate in December from a new school so he can early enroll in college in January. He’ll have to transfer before his senior season. And then he’ll be ineligible to play his senior season if he wants to graduate in December and enroll in college in January.
Much like Stewart did at St. Aug to Karr to USC

You may be correct, I’m no expert on the eligibility piece, just parroting what I was told a few months ago from folks who are pretty tied in, that’s what I was told would happen at the time.

Older brother is about to be shipped out to Southeastern.

Wow.
I could see him flipping back.

Why do we have problems recruiting safeties, both out of HS and portal?
I started making note of this at the end of last season. The safety product on the field was trash and the recruiting from both HS and the portal has been lackluster. That tells me the position coach is suspect…

Surely we are in a position to “ship out” a consensus 4 star/top 300 recruit at the moment because his brother isn’t coming. Sack up.

This is as much of a can't miss prospect at a position of need as there can be. Cannot let this happen.

I’ll wait until it’s signed and confirmed to melt.
If that time comes I will sure as shite melt my arse off cause this would be a big miss.

Not buying it. The next time Ohio St takes an elite player out of Louisiana, will be the first time. Dont know if he signs with LSU, but i don't expect him to be at Ohio St.
Also, he's is going big time for money. Oregon, Texas, and Ohio St in the top 4 proves it.
Is he worth a million? That's for boosters and LSU to decide.

I love when a dude commits to LSU it is “he only is driving up the money”
Kid from Louisiana could never

A tier one school coming into Louisiana and cherry picking recruits once again under CBK’s watch
Yikes

Some say money play but we also can't be blind to reality
Look at our recent Safety history, it's concerning. It hasn't been good since he was in the 6th Grade, so most of his formable years have witnessed trash play, a revolving door of coaches, a ton of negative PR and fan backlash over the D and Safety play in particular. And let's be honest, I doubt Jake Olsen inspires, or at least I have not heard of or seen kids flocking to him in recruiting.
I can definitely see why he'd want to go play for the defending national champion that has had a better track record in recent years with guys like Caleb Downs
Sucks that DBU has slipped so far in recent years

Despite what LSU thinks, LSU has done a horrible job recruiting him and he has been looking elsewhere for a while. Based on what I know, all I can summize is they just took him for granted. Having elite talent so close is actually more work than elite talent further away because its harder to make every visit special when you can come more often. LSU hadn't picked up on this and he has been down on the program for a while. He didnt go to OSU for the bag, he went because they did a better job selling their program. Sucks and I hope LSU can turn things around but that is where things stand at the moment.

People don’t want to admit it but the way those DB played for OSU this year.. I can’t fault him for wanting to be apart of it..
Ours have looked terrible in recent years. Hopefully a good showing this year might get him back on board

Why do y'all think this is a money play? Kid comes from an affluent family. He's watched 3 of the best safeties in the nation (Jackson, McBryde, Rogers) at the time come to LSU, and not do much...can we blame him?
