Deion has capitalized the marketing side. But it won’t end well. He’s a strong believer in man coverage no matter what. That’s works at JS when you brought in better athletes than competition. In D1 vs UCLA / Oregon in pac 12, will get eaten alive.

He will be a tiger when CU wins 4 games next year. I love Deion as a player, and a personality. Coaching D1 football for a team that won one game last year in a P5 conference is no easy task.

Fresh off the Colorado visit and Deion has a lot of momentum.
Colorado is probably going to have a top 10 - 15 class going into next season. Keeping those recruits once they start losing games is going to be the hard part. Even with a revamped schedule, i don't see them winning more than 4-5 games

They are projected to win 4 or 5 games this coming year. They brought in almost 50 new players to that dumbster fire. Nobody is expecting them to have a big year and recruits know that it's a total rebuild. Hopefully we still get JuJU on signing day im not worried about feb 4th commitment date.

Prime is going to get these good athletes that are enthralled with him, but he’s got to win to keep ‘em coming. But my thing is that if some player wants to go there and is down to LSU, Florida and Colorado, surely recruiting people know it’s all about Prime - Nothing else

Guess the stupidity from Westgate is spreading to LCA. What a moron

He is going to be a "thing" no matter what happens on the field. By name alone, he is a built in media cycle machine. I guarantee you that Colorado will be getting a lot more of the lucrative TV slots for their games next year
This only works in his favor if they get positive results. If he embarrasses himself, it's gonna be non-stop sportstalk fodder.

Which is ridiculous because he has done nothing to warrant that kind of attention
But I’m sure this will make the “coach” prime tards in here cry though they can’t dispute this.

Valid point - b/c let’s be honest, there can’t be many kids from the south that grow up dreaming of being a Buffalo.
And, frankly, this topic is what I’m most interested in seeing play out:
Will Prime turn out to be a good coach when it comes to actually winning games/leagues/championships @ the P5 level?
or,
Will his HC tenure end up being more of a “dog-and-pony” show that’s all based on kids being so enamored by a HOF corner that they’re willing to play for a school (and live in a part of the country) they otherwise have no interest in whatsoever??
I’ll end by saying: if it turns out that Prime can really get it done between the headsets, hire great staff, develop the high-quality talent he brings to campus, and consistently win at a place like Colorado - then, dear lord, everybody better look out, because PrimeTime could be a serious force to be reckoned with in the coming years…..

Haha yeah he’s playing qb and wr for Prime. He’s a dumbass if he thinks he’s going to be playing both ways.

More like slot WR and CB. He is a playmaker he just needs to touch the ball. Probably only get lik 5 to 10 reps a game on offense but that's still good.

It’s obviously a stupid statement and a reason I’m not a future hall of fame college football coach but
Any kid who wants Deion, can have that piece of shite. No shade to dirty Kirby, Saban, Ryan Day etc. but double frick “primetime”

Why the hate for Prime? I mean it's just a commitment and a decision a player makes.

Prime just had Lil Wayne there for a visit. I wonder it JuJu was there then too.

His mistake. Their coach is a joke and is about to get exposed. I give this “coach” prime dad about two more years tops before people realize that popularity does not equal ability to coach.
Inclined to agree, which means he can go get some experience there and then transfer to the good guys.

It’s really just the beginning for Prime…He is will recruit Saban good no doubt.

wait til Colorado goes 3-9 or something like that... that shine on Prime will wear off a little bit... plus, he's jumping to the 1st big time power 5 offer he gets... no doubt in my mind... Colorado is nothing more than a stepping stone for him
