I sent them $200 bucks. It’s not much, but hope more people do the same. Not being in the tournament this year sucks.

I wonder how the coaches try to figure out how small school pitchers translate to the sec. it seems to be less of a crap shoot than position players and their ability to hit sec pitching or not.
I guess you look at how they did when they faced good non conference opponents or the better teams in their conference. potential draft projections would be another way,im sure. so not a lot different in how we evaluate any player
I think command is probably going to be the deal breaker for whether or not a guy is a take or not.

I think pitching is significantly easier than hitting to predict who can handle a move up in competition.
Good indicators for “stuff”:
K/9
B/AVG
Good indicator for command:
BB/9
I don’t even fool with looking at ERA.
I’m sure they also evaluate their pitch mix, spin rates, velocity, etc and as you said velocity.

Give us Watters, Chris Ramirez, and Hotchkiss. That could give us:
1B Braun
DH Serna
RF Watters
C Arrambide
LF Hotchkiss
SS Ramirez
3B Pearson/ incoming Fr.
2B Ruckert/ incoming Fr.
CF Patrick/ incoming Fr.
Grab the Gonzaga pitcher and the lefty from NW State and we'll be in good shape.
