Sure is crazy how a little Catholic school can get elite running back after elite running back. What is in the water down there haha jk lulz

I was hoping someone would confirm that was Moses... THANKS!

There's some middle ground here between those comparing him to Barry Sanders and those writing him off as a limited 3rd down back. He'll be a great Tiger
Posted on 1/9/17 at 2:18 pm to ExpoTiger
Because I watched his highlights and nothing shows this great breakaway speed some say he has.
Posted on 1/9/17 at 2:44 pm to maxcheramie
Nope. He's good...but he's not in the same stratosphere as Guice (much less Sanders).

You're right he's not fast, he only runs a 4.4
I do too. We're measuring in minutes, right?

No you said he is NOT fast. That means you think he's slow.
I suggested if you think he isn't fast, you must be pretty fast yourself, because he is in fact very fast. My reading comprehension is just fine.

Ceh defenitely is a different type of running back then we have had in the last couple years. He will fit in perfectly in Canada s system catching passes out the backfield and in space. We re lucky to have him def underrated

Yes they are and 4.4 is fast. You said he wasn't fast. You said nothing about quick. You may want to take another comprehension class before throwing stones next time moron.

Lol 10 downvotes.
CEH is great and I'm pumped about him, but Barry Sanders he is not.

I don't really like college vs all-pro NFL comparisons, other than maybe running style. Thought this thread needed some facts though ...
Louisiana's top 8 overall: (N.O. NIKE Opening):
Leading the way for Louisiana prospects was Catholic High running back and LSU commitment Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who posted a 4.47 in the 40-yard run, 4.12 short shuttle, a 38-feet power ball toss and 37.5-inch vertical leap, good for a third place finish and final score of 121.86.
1. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Catholic-BR, LSU commit, 121.86
2. Travis Etienne, RB, Jennings, 5-11, 199, 116.94
Fastest 5:
1. Travis Etienne, RB, Jennings, 4.43
2. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Catholic-BR, 4.47
4. Todd Harris, S, Plaquemine, 4.51
Top vertical leaps: (Just FYI)
2. Jontre Kirklin, ATH, Lutcher, LSU commit, 41.8
3. Todd Harris, S, Plaquemine, 41.0

Didn't he sulk and say he needs more attention?

Hope CEH can block and catch the ball, because Barry Sanders could not and he came out of the game on 3rd down more often than not. Also, Sanders was the best ever in open field making dudes miss, but his straight line speed was not that overwhelming and was caught from behind quite often.

Yes, people were very excited about guice. The only reason fournette had more hype is because he was hyped since 8th grade...

The only reason the 5 star number one overall player had more hype is because he has been a bad arse since the 8th grade?

Great ball skills and a late bloomer - I think CEH will be one of the mild surprises - not quite a "diamond in the rough" which we would reserve for 3-star players at this level, but still - with all the talk about Harris, Akers and Carr in this class (more or less the 3 on the bubble of a 5th star), CEH could be just what we need going forward with Canada's offense.
Etienne is going to be more of a bruiser and a strong downhill runner (which we'll need to compliment CEH - who is more of a slash and dash back.)
