Look, Saban knows that LSU is the real threat to his program. He will do anything to keep top kids out of LSU. Many of our fans may under play LSU's recruiting power and the program's ability but Saban never will.
He is a scumbag and is bad for college football. He will try anything and he is at one of the biggest cheating programs of all time. Expect anything.

Saban knows the potential threat the LSU program poses. That is exactly why he works to weaken it any chance he gets, such as stealing away players like Surtain, Jr. with blatantly obvious b.s. tactics like attempting to hire his father to a coaching position. Saban is a lying pos who will win at ANY price.
