Hearing the deal is in place for Sam Leavitt. I expect him to be in Baton Rouge tomorrow. There’s been some smoke on Sorsby the last couple days but the mood right now shifts HEAVILY to Sam Leavitt being LSUs next QB

Would have been a big fan of this last year. This year….not so much.

We had better line up anther QB with more polish than MVB in case Leavitt gets hurt again or doesn’t get back to full speed.

Amazing news…the foot will take 6 months to heal…no. Give the other QBs spring practice to get some work. This dudes a baller.

Hoping like hell this happens!

I didn’t even bring up his lisfranc injury, you dumpster fire of a human. I’ve watched you be the biggest douche bag on this site for years. But while that injury doesn’t yield great recovery results and has a long rehab time, the guy is also a very inconsistent passer. I’m just not as big of a fan of him, but Lane knows what he wants.

Sam Leavitt.

Easily the best qb available but injury concerns are also true. Hope we sign multiple QBs.

He’s probably looking for a starting gig, but would love to have Deuce Knight come in as well.

This would be a huge mistake there are better options available that aren’t coming off a major injury. He’s not going to be anywhere near ready by fall and won’t be the same QB he was before the injury. hope yall are ready for MVB to be the starter for Clemson game

Just because someone else is available doesn't mean they want to come here.

6 months? More like 9-15 for full confidence and performance.

Hey Philly, do you expect a commitment tomorrow, or just a visit?

I'm in the same boat as you. He looked like absolute dog shite against Mississippi State.

Hopefully this means he'll be ready to go from his injury by spring.

A young athlete with access to the best recovery is not going to need over a year to recover from a foot injury lmao

Idk who to believe with yall. Some of yall say Leavitt is an inconsistent passer, then I’ve read some on here complaining because Sorsby is a horrible passer under any kind of pressure and inconsistent. Here’s a fun fact. Not a single QB out there will be perfect. How about we let the offensive genius of a HC in Lane decide who the best is?

See, knew it. I’m sure you’ve done a bunch of research on the injury to draw your conclusion. Do you know what type of surgery he ended up having? What else can you tell us?

Again, I’m sure you’ve done know he tried to play thru the injury up until the point he opted for surgery, huh? Since you are a Lisfranc expert and all. No way that could have hampered some of his abilities, huh?
