No need to troll look at the NOLA newspaper!! When he was injured he wanted to commit but we wouldnt accept his commitment! Now that he's healthy he feels as if LSU wasnt loyal to him so why should he be loyal to us!!

Things change - a week ago LSU didn’t have a spot for him. People handle disappointment in different ways.
I suspect that if the staff called - he would listen.

Probably more assumption than truth. Terrace Marshall was injured in highschool and was still recruited. It would be interesting to know if he was directly told that.

Read the article for yourself. It was written on the 12th in the NOLA sports section!!

Terrance Marshall was also one of the 3 top receivers in the country!! We were probably confident in landing one of the other top Rbs

I agree. There’s lots of time between now and February to make up ground, particularly if we can land SVP.

Thankfully Justin Jefferson didn’t have that attitude
or maybe in this case good thing that Clyde didn't have this attitude? I would think Clyde is the shining example about how even if you aren't LSU's priority if you bust your arse and prove them wrong you can shine in this system.

It doesn’t work that way. LSU needs the recruits more than they need LSU.

Tyrone Johnson turned kids on that team off for LSU.

Terrace Marshall was a 5 star stud in HS. He was the kind of guy you expect to be a two, or three, year starter and help you dominate the SEC. Clayton is a guy you expect to come in and be a reliable RB2. But then, so was Clyde.

Thus far in the past two and current recruiting cycles we’ve signed Curry, Emery and Davis Price.
We need to land a quality back and we looked like we place all our eggs in one basket again.
Seems imprudent.

I always wondered why any WR committed to play in Miles’ offense.

Good luck to the young man wherever he ends up

eh, I'm good with that.
To be honest, that's a pretty straightforward assessment without bad mouthing us. Yes, the compliments were a little sideways, but that's ok.
Maybe we shouldn't have gone that route. Maybe he should be more upset with Evans than us. We didn't tell him we didn't want him, we told him we wanted Evans more and he led us to believe (Evans) that he indeed wanted that spot.
So yeah, some shots at us are warranted. But his bone to pick is with Evans. He took our spot! (southpark redneck voice)

Is there something wrong with that?
Yes, there is. Because recruits leave schools at the altar just the same as coaches do it to kids. It’s a two-way street and he should know how the recruiting process goes. It’s never personal. And he’s taking it that way.

Gibbs hasn't really shown much interest in LSU either.
