Curious to see how he and AJ Johnson progress their junior years. I honestly expect to see some pretty big numbers from both. Not going to say I was disappointed with what they did last year, but I was honestly expecting a little more from both. That's just a super high expectation level when especially someone like Arch comes with the hype though.
Arch vs. Eli will be interesting to watch this upcoming season who really gets ahead of the other.

They guy is never coming here. And not because the Mannings may hate LSU, but because Walker Howard is a 5 star QB who will sign with LSU one year before.

Going to Ole Miss with Lane Kiffin or I could see Texas being a real player for him too. Texas is setting themselves up to make inroads into Louisiana recruiting and I believe this will be Sarkasian's(sp?) biggest effort. There's no way he's coming to LSU at the log jam here to sit behind all these QBs. You would need mass attrition at QB for him to come.

I agree. The QB room will be crowded next summer. I just dont see Arch signing with a school where he has to sit for 2 years.
You rarely see the #1 QB in any class sit the 1st year unless he's on a team that's making a championship run.

I want this kid at LSU for a lot of reasons, but I have a serious question -
Would he be this highly sought after if he had a different last name?
Highlights look good, but he's clearly a sophomore with room for improvement as expected. Has a high ceiling with his size/athleticism and game IQ, but I'm not watching that highlight and saying "holy shite, this kid is blowing my mind". Are people just assuming because he's a Manning that he'll be a monster by the time he graduates?

The only school on that list that has signed 5star QBs in consecutive classes is Georgia (Eason, Fromm, and Fields). Two of the 3 left and UGA ended up with the least talented QB out of the 3.

Not true. How well LSU develops Max Johnson and Walker Howard will determine where Arch falls. The family will
Make the decision that puts arch in the best spot to be coached properly.
My feeling is ole miss wins out as Kiffin is a great offensive coach and they’ll sell out to get him.

I would really like to watch him play at the highest level of Texas High School football. The game of football is played on another level there compared to high school ball in Louisiana. Would be great to watch him against this kind of competition versus what he see’s at his high school. I think he is going to be a great one just based on family background alone.
