Anyone here thinks BK brings in another QB??

I was curios, anyone here thinks BK brings in another QB from the portal, or ride with Daniels, Nuss, and Collins.
Keep in mind if Daniels goes down Nuss would be the only QB with any experience, and his experience is very limited.

I can't see using an important spot (that could fill real starter level holes) for a 3rd string QB. We have clear cut 1 and 2, that's good enough.
If you get to 3rd string QB, the season is probably shot anyway..

I don't think so, unless it's a guy who would have at least 3 years of eligibility and was a slam dunk upgrade over Nuss. I don't see that guy out there.
I love having competition in the QB room, but I also believe you can have too many guys. I feel like we've got plenty of competition right now but also a clearly defined depth chart. It's a pretty good balance, imo.

Nah he rode with a true freshman 3rd string QB last year without any worries

Nah, that would be too tough on us Ranters.

Hell yeah! The JD pumpers want competition!

There is zero reason why you'd want to do that.
We have three walkon quarterbacks who've been in the program more than a year. You don't need more than three scholarship quarterbacks. Take more than that and it's a matter of time before somebody transfers out and then where are you?
We're all set right now to have Daniels starting in 2023, Nussmaier taking over in 2024 and 2025, and then Hurley taking over in 2026 and 2027. Ricky Collins is the X-factor and backup in the mix. It seems like everybody is happy with that for now; why mess with it?

I doubt it if not for no other reason other than I doubt LSU could attract anyone really talented at the moment. Solid QB room.

It Nuss transfers in the spring I would say yes. If he doesn’t I would say no.

Why would Nuss wait till spring to transfer?

I would say if a talented kid is out there he will bring him in.

Why would he?
I think we are going to be just fine regardless if JD or Nuss start next year (and honestly I think we will see both of them get significant play time next year).

#1 pri now is hanging on to Nuss. I think it is pretty obvious JD will go into Spring as #1 and the competition will unfold. Personally I will be surprised if JD does not start vs FSU, but I expect to see Nuss on the field this season and of course taking the reins in 24.

There will be no "competition" this Spring just like there was no "competition" last year.
Daniels is the starter - period.
