Can't help but feel good for that kicker. Hope he gets laid tonight.

I didn't watch. Is a high school coach actually sporting an LSU hat?

Nice job East Jeff fans I coach at North Desoto and yall whooped our asses in 2nd round of the playoffs.

Just for good luck in the past six years the team that knocked us out of the playoffs won the title 4 times.

Looked like he was just coaching a tough, close game in cold arse rain to me.

Watched the first two touchdowns and fell asleep in the chair. Was 20 minutes late to work for the first time since...I don't know...West Monroe was good?

alright alright I'll say it, and preface it by saying yeah I'm butthurt over North La's defection from the state.... but if that game is any indication of who Hootie is as a player, he's one that will go to Alabama and soon be forgotten back home in La. He was not the best player on offense or defense for Neville. On defense he was lazy in pursuit, avoided contact, and his one solo tackle in the entire 2nd half he got driven back 5 yards by a slight running back. On offense he looked like Neville's 3rd best option carrying the ball.

Looks like a guy in a linebacker's body who wants to play cornerback, and not because he's just that great in coverage, it's because he doesn't want to tackle.

Against WM it seemed like he made every single tackle. Idk how severe is injury is, but I know he's been hurt most of the year.

There's no doubt he is a physical specimen, it was extremely easy to locate him on the field each play. But tonight I didn't see any indication whatsoever that he is or will be a great football player.

Maybe he is hurt and maybe I'll eat my words, and I know Saban will try and squeeze every ounce of potential out of him just like we'd have done here at LSU...but I ain't mad right now that he's headed out of town. Wish the kid all the success in the world except against LSU.

I said I was not going to post that because I do not want recruits to think this board is vindictive.

But I wholeheartedly agree with your comments. If I did not know who HJ was I would not have had any idea he was a highly recruited player. I only heard his name called once on defense when he ran the QB out of bounds 10 yds upfield.

A couple of defensive plays brought the term "Ole!" to mind... I was really astounded.

As for the NE LA defection from the state, I thought it was funny that Neville's logo was a LSU eye of the tiger copy...
