Played both ways for them. Stud high school player and really physical. Not sure how he'll do in college though.

ETA- I hear he's going to play baseball not football

He is a very good athlete. Good motot, high character etc. He could definitely play D1, but evidently he loves baseball more.

My kids go to Lakeshore, he is a big physical kid. About 6'2"- 6'3" 215- 220. They ran him aloto which set up their passing game. Consider him a duel threat
Baseball is his sport though, would need work on his pass game to play QB at D1.

One of my good friends grew up with him and played DB at lakeshore(he’s a freshman at USM, I’m now a junior) I asked about Westcott and he raved on him as an athlete and being a good dude

I know his father well. Grew up with him and played with and against him for years in baseball. He was a very good baseball player. He actually was drafted out of high school in the late rounds. Never got to the big show but was very good. If he's like his dad he's all baseball.

Westcott is the name, baseball is the game (but he was just named Mr. Football in Louisiana for 2019). Played at Lakeshore High School, near Mandeville, Louisiana.

I say this with 100% facts on the situation. The kid is an old school player not many people know about Christian because he is a 2 sport athlete.Christian didn't go to 7 on 7 or other showcases bc he plays baseball in the summer.Kid played defense his first 3 yrs. in high school and was named all state Lb his junior season.Lakeshore had no qb so coach Jones ask him to play qb Christian said whatever gives us the best chance to win coach but I still want to play defense..via his parents[my sister and brother in law]Christian is going to college somewhere to play both sports..he has had some visits but is looking for the best fit so he can do both. All I know is after watching the kid play he has a high motor, ultra competitive ,hard worker and a winner....ILL take that on my team any night.

He comes to Titan soccer games often. Sat and watched him throwing the ball 55 yards or better over and over again. He's a strong kid.

BTW, this weekend I watched another Lakeshore baseball kid, no clue who--Chris somebody, thowing a baseball 110 yards. Fans from the opposing team were cheering for him when they caught on to what he was doing. A couple parents said he's a pitcher and good.

Steven Ceravolo, the Lakeshore Baseball Coach is a teriffic baseball guy. He thinks this kid will be drafted. Benny Latino is all over him.

He never came off the field vs Westgate.

Punted and led them in rushing. Fell forward for extra yardage every time.

Rushed for 5 TD in 35-13 win in New Iberia

I was told by someone in the college scouting world that he would have a ton of big offers if he were taller. Said most teams really like him but think they can find the size somewhere else. I know nothing about the kid. Wish him luck. Just passing on the info as this was brought up very recently.

Mr Football an impressive award to receive
