I know a lot of the recruits on O wanted to take a wait and see approach to LSU's new offense and in particular Coach Cam. Any word on how they're responding to him?

brandon harris LOVES him, word is that he learned more from cam yesterday than he has his last 3 years of high school

well yesterday was fun...I know that

Great ? and the results seem to be mixed. Everyone praises the guy to high heaven but I'm still waiting for all the offensive commits at the skill positions. Wish those prospects who have praised him so much would actually commit.

I'm thinking Cam really helps us with Speedy. He may feel more comfortable with cam running the O so that he wouldn't become the next Russell shepard.

This comparison is dumb and overstated. Speedy is a more polished receiver as a senior in high school than Shep was as a senior in college. Noil has way more potential

the word is they had to hire a cleaning crew because of all the jizz
but seriously they love learning from someone whos been at all levels and been successful. Hes a great mind and these kids are blown away

Comparison is valid though because they'd have a similar position. A Percy Havin, Shep kinda role. That slot big play guy

Plus I could easily see other schools pitching the "they had a great dynamic ath in RS and couldn't figure out how to use him for four years"

Won't stop negative recruiting. I'm sure there are coaches using Shep against LSU when recruiting Speedy.
As far as the original question. Seems like the kids really like him. That picture with Quinn and Harris has me optimistic about both.

Not even close. Noil is truly an elite athlete who can catch and run good routes. Shep was a below average route runner and his hands were not that good. If Noil was on the team last year he would have beaten Shep on the depth chart.
Percy Harvin would be a good comparison though.

Ok yeah I agree. Maybe a better way to put it was shep was SUPPOSED to be a Harvin type but didnt have the skill set PH does.

And noil for that matter.

Noil is the next Harvin. In a few years, people will be saying that "X" will be the next Noil. He's that good from what people are saying.

I thought Jeryl Brazil was the next PH?

A bigger, stronger Tavon Austin could also be a good comparison. Noil is amazing in space. He can really move. Shep had straight line speed, but his lateral quickness wasn't that good. While Speedy's is top notch

I think Brazil has the potential of Chris Johnson and the fact that he played on defense means he is not afraid of contact. When I watch Speedy, Tavon is the first and only thing that pops into my head.
