Agree about the OM stuff. This kid has had the quietest 5* recruitment I have ever seen. Virtually nothing ever comes out regarding this kid. Kind of strange to me. He is a certified stud and would be a great pull but it ain't happening though I do think we'll try. At one point last year he said he was leaving the state but that seems to have changed.

No, but we hadn't signed an Olive branch guy till Jalen Collins.
He's going to Ole Miss. Bama has too much depth at Safety. I don't think our staff is even actively recruiting the guy. There has been nada on him

Conner is a Reb. He's going through the process, but he'll likely commit to us at our camp this summer.
His brother is also walking on with Ole Miss next year. As well, his former teammates Issac Gross, Temario Strong, and Nick Brassell are on the Ole Miss team or will be here in the summer.
He's about as much of a lock as you can get.

Would love to get him but have no delusions of it happening. Probably stays instate but you never know with Bama lurking.
Brassell was grades. Agree about the talent. Best player on their team imo. The only guy that stood out to me athletically last year. Only player I feared could hurt us.

Conner is playing recruiting very quietly. He doesn't give many interviews, and he didn't go to ANY year-end camps this year. Skipped Bama's, OM's, and State's in the past few days. The quieter he plays it, and the longer he waits to decide, the more likely that it is he won't end up at OM. Still a long way to Feb though. His plan right now is to decide at the AA game in January..
His brother is a JUCO AA LB @ Northwest(MS) CC, but he is ineligible to sign in the SEC due to only having 1 yr of eligibility remaining. David Conner initially signed with Auburn out of South Panola in 2008(ended up being a nonqualifier). This was the Houston Nutt class of 37. So, there is precedence in his family for beating the pressure to attend OM.
Good kid by all accounts with very good grades, that is very humble and just wants to work hard. May be the best prospect from MS in quite awhile.
