re: Did Kiffin quit on his team

Ultimately he chose between:

1. Taking a job he wanted.
over
2. Finishing the season with his team. (which came with the caveat to commit)

Yes, he quit. He's free to make that decision. But *zero* chance any of his mentors, particularly Saban, would walk away from a Playoff team simply to take another job. 0 percent.

The calendar is what it is. Ultimately, he made his career aspirations a priority over seeing this season out because those were his choices, and that's his right, but that doesn't make him any less of a quitter.

And no, he couldn't have continued to coach this team. If anything, the last month has proven what a disaster that would've been. It's become enough of a circus with assistants. You can't recall your assistants back and forth because you need them for the portal and not understand why that would've been so detrimental as a head coach in a semifinal/potential NCG prep scenario.

A lot of fans holding out for Miami, but I know of a lot going as well. If you look at the secondary market prices in the Ole Miss and Miami section, Ole Miss is a tougher ticket. Ole Miss will probably be at least 60/40 in Phoenix.

I mean there is 0 proof right now, thats a fact.
All they had on our worst allegations was testimony and a vague text message. Good luck.

but seriously where is the proof?

Oh, we are just making tons of threads off of speculation.

This was me circa 2013-2015.

First stage: Denial.

Sorry we dont play that game.
Imagine being this naive as a fan.

You’ve won a total of 4 SEC games since these recruits were freshmen in HS.

They’re getting offers from around the country, but they’re going to go to Fayetteville for free simply to play for arguably the worst Western division team this decade?

The butthurt response

But that’s recruiting, it happens

The proper response

BTW — realize what recruiting rules are. You can contact kids all you want leading up to the moment he signs (during the dead period). Just no in-person contact. And despite what some hack blog said, our staff didn’t go visit the kid during the dead period.

Ole Miss still shamelessly cheating out the arse I see
Dude y’all finished 2-10 are 4-20 in the SEC the last three years, and just signed a top 15 class.

GFTO with the self-righteous BS. Everybody pays. We got sloppy.

Ah. So you know ole Miss has his NLI but can't prove it. Nice
well I imagine you’ll know in an hour that it wasn’t pissing in the wind. Ole Miss is awaiting his announcement before putting it up on Twitter.
Ole Miss has his NLI, so I couldn’t care less but someone wanted a “link.”

Sure buddy! I am shaking in fear already!

Be sure to come back at 1pm, "buddy!"
Ole Miss's Rivals guy just FutureCast him to Ole Miss.

And so it begins.
Return ban bet? If I'm wrong, I'm out for life. If I'm right, you're out. Deal?

Heck, save it. I'll permanent ban bet you without your challenge. Either way, I'm good.
Henry is a Reb. Will be announced here in a few hours. OM has received his NLI.

Where is your proof this actually happened?

Well FatBoy22, considering I said "the rumor has always been," I wouldn't be able to provide you substantial proof.

But it's been said so many times from connected people in around the program when he was hired and after, I believe it to be 100% true.

Whether you do or not is your own decision.
