Your fallacy is that he doesn’t want most kids in Louisiana. He sometimes takes players late that he doesn’t even need at positions we do just to screw LSU.

He had no need to sign Slade Bolden, Hootie Jones, Eddie Smith, Kyle Edwards, and Danny Lewis. He only wanted them because LSU did.

I see this comment over an dover and it is the dumbest take. Do you really believe Saban or any coach uses valuable scholarships to keep them from being signed b another program?

He was 2017. OP only went back to 2018.

Say what you want about O (most is likely deserved), but he did a pretty damn good job of keeping good La. recruits out of Tuscaloosa. Can’t wait to see Kelly continue that tradition.

Nope, nope, tin foil hat bullshite. In the days of unlimited scholarships you could do that. I think that ended in the 70's if not earlier.

Hootie Jones and Lewis were the only ones of that list that LSU ever offered.

Cam Robinson is not on the list but LSU really wanted him

I’m pretty sure LSU wanted Cam Robinson, Phadaria Mathis & Irv Smith Jr.

Bro, he's only talking about the last 6 classes. These guys were all pre-2018.

Now list all the players from Alabama that LSU wanted and stole from Alabama that Saban wanted. It’s always been a one way street. We gotta fight to keep our best home yet Saban and the REC don’t have to break a sweat. We are no threat for any the Gumps want to keep.

Difference being Saban actually coached in La & formed relationships.

Oh & he's won a lot of games

I don't think Alabama's recruiting is effective, just really annoying. Like losing a small bet to someone you really hate.

. This is a total fallacy. He just couldn't pull most of the ones he really wanted.

This is a fallacy also.

Dude, can you read? I listed the last six classes. Smith was before that (so was Cam Robinson, for the other person who mentioned him)

I drew the line at 6 years, because there are currently 6th-year seniors playing football and I wanted to keep it current.

You are welcome to make a list that goes back as far as you would like.

It's time to start worrying about Georgia more than Alabama. I don't mean that necessarily from the standpoint of putting a wall around LA, but they're a serious problem now nationally.

Kelly is doing what Saban has been doing for over a decade: filling in classes with lesser ranked Louisiana kids to keep the pipeline strong.

Kelly will soon own this state. All these transfers of LA kids back home also fortify the pipeline. It’s brilliant.
