There’s a baseball recruiting thread on the RB. Let’s not make a post every time a kid enters the portal.

Is the OP updated and edited daily because I’m not going through 100 of pages for info, just sayin!

The OP is a list of commitments, it's updated when it needs to be updated.

Crews took him deep last year. Turned around 96mph like it was nothing.

I only needed to watch one interview with him to see he is a standup dude.

I hope he chooses LSU.

That’s not possible. If he graduated he has a 6 year commitment to serve in the Air Force

Wouldn't he have to fulfill his AF obligations first?

He is only a sophomore. Im not 100% on this, but I think anyone can leave the service academies after their second year with no penalties. Their commitments dont actually start until their 3rd year.

Interesting seeing that from a service academy player. Is he a grad transfer?

He’s a sophomore. And there’s so many good baseball players not playing at big time programs. LSU picks up a solid JUCO guy every year. If LSU has success recruiting mid-major and P5 transfers, we will be stacked. Just look at Reyzleman, Gervase, Jobert, McManus, not to mention Berry, all transfers. There is a ton of talent out there.

Maybe Paul Mainieri can make some calls for us.

The current head coach at Air Force is Mike Kazlausky. He played under Paul Mainieri at Air Force and was an assistant coach under him for 2 years.

Skenes touches 100 mph with his fastball. Good bat. Solid catcher.

Would be an amazing addition.

96 is what matters to this thread which is about Skenes. Not sure what you are trying to do here, build up another or put down the pitching ability of Skenes

I feel Lester has earned the benefit of the doubt that he knows enough not to put down the pitcher’s ability because Dylan Crews hit a home run off of him. Not to speak for him, but I’m almost positive he intended that as a compliment to Crews.
