Hicks committing there isn’t strange. Guys committing there from Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Arizona is strange. Especially for a school who hasn’t won a conference title in 25 years or a natty since 1939.

It's the only explanation. Why else would he go where there's 10 - 5* freshman & RS freshman D lineman on the team at his position.

And that's the real problem. No elite OC wants to go to TAMU when they Jimbo is basically just going to tell them, "Youre going to run my offense/plays". If he'd let an OC do his job and have the freedom to put his stamp on the offense, coaches would want to coach there.

They need an entire system change and Jimbo isn't doing that. As long as he wins no one will complain either just like Les Miles, even though it was obvious how shite it was. It wasn't until Les started losing that he got fired.
