This actually makes most sense

Commit to USC (home town college), stands firm on commitment, and signs today seems like the path of least resistance.

But I will say if this was a Louisiana guy doing this to LSU people would be losing their shite right now. TD recruiting page would burn to the ground.

Similar to the Malik McDowell recruitment.

I remember similar shite happened with Adoree Jackson. Dude was between usc and lsu. Committed to usc but they didn’t receive his LoI. Adoree was on a plane with snoop Dogg headed to Cali and hadn’t faxed in his loi lol.

I wouldn’t want a kid that would do that to his home state.

My guess is that he didn't sign his actual LOI during the ceremony (lots of people sign in the privacy of their home and then just sign a random piece of paper at their ceremony--it's what I, myself, did), and so they flipped it over so as to avoid rampant speculation about the fact that he wasn't signing an actual LOI. That's by far what makes the most sense to me. If he wanted to sign with LSU, why would he do it at a ceremony where he was supposed to be signing with USC? In such case he'd probably have signed the LOI at home and signed a random piece of paper at his ceremony, so as to avoid raising suspicion. Similarly, if he had decided to sign with SCe but wasn't planning on actually signing his real LOI at the ceremony, it would make sense that he'd flip the page over immediately after signing it so that people couldn't see it and say "omg he didn't actually sign!"


Again, this is a total guess on my part, but it makes sense regardless of whom he actually winds up signing with.
