This could have something to do with it or nothing at all.
It does seem to appear that all the pressure on him was to stay at home and play football. It’s sad that all these people and especially his mom are reportedly pressuring him to play for USCe. You would think that as a mom all she would want is for her son to be happy. If all this is true and he truly wants to be at LSU, then that’s just terrible and he’s surrounded by selfish individuals, starting with his own mother.

Respect. That's why. Burch was obviously recruited very heavily by USCe, and I'd probably want to tell Muschamp in a private environment unlike that one. If he pulled an LSU hat out, that gym would have erupted and would have embarrassed the hell out of Muschamp. Just not the right move if youre going to choose another school.

I don't think this kid comes to LSU, given the drama.
But for all the conspiracy theorists one idea makes sense: He wants to go to LSU, wanted to announce it at the press conference, and then decided he didn't want to have to face Muschamp in person after a flip.
Would make more sense to be non-committal during the presser, let Muschamp go back to Columbia, and THEN announce the flip.
That said, think this is about as likely as a copperhead giving birth to a pig, but there it is.

You don't know that kid, his family, or his situation at all. To speculate and hate on them for what you perceive to be the situation is downright horrible.
Yeah he is a big time prospect that I would like to see at a school I cheer for too, but shite like that man you need to get a grip.

Man, I've watched that video ten times and have yet to be able to tell what it is exactly that they are signing. There's no way to know. That's not a rumor... again, there's a reason we were never given an answer. And according to mom, she won't sign anywhere unless he makes the change to LSU. Ultimately do I think this all comes to a crazy arse end and he goes to SC? Yes, but holy shite is this wild
