We are going to be able to take a full 30 but likely will leave 3-5 spots open for transfers if I had to guess

As many as they want. There’s no 25 player limit anymore. They only have to be at 85 scholarship players. Ed O left them with 40% of a scholarship team left at the end of his tenure. LSU was nowhere near 85 the last couple of years. They’ll take however many they need to get back to a full squad. Just think, they’ve done all this with a huge limiter on them these last two years. Get ready.
