Seems nobody really knows if he'll be D or O line here, but due to our struggles to sign elite D linemen the last few years and our ability to sign elite O linemen, I hope the coaching staff has him pegged for D line! Can anyone confirm this?

He has stated he wants to play d-line. Most likely DE. Maybe another chase young. That would be awesome

damn I wasnt aware of that. I thought a verbal commitment was binding. is this new or has this been the case for a while?

fwiw he said today that hes 100% a tiger and that hes not going to. his words were that this isnt one of those it aint over til the ink dry situations. he didnt have to go that far,im gonna take him at his word

When he signs, I'll believe it. Until then, no. Underwood was a cinch to sign according to 99% of the posters, and I told everyone that would listen, "committing" means absolutely nothing. Look what happened. Don't put all eggs in one basket.
