There is plenty of time left. The class isn’t finished.

I wouldn’t even want guys like this on my team anyway. They turn out to be more of a cancer for the team anyway because those type of guys are strictly all about themselves. No amount of money will ever be enough for people like that and Tennessee will probably be going through another Lamaleava situation again with Keys in another year or two

I have a different take on this. We are getting great athletes. We are seen as one of the “cool” schools.
All these kids want a LSU offer in their bio and can use it for leverage against other schools. I think it’s that simple.

LSU was offering him way more than they did DK Moore. However this dude decides to leave anyway because they want insane money.

This same Tennessee team paid Nico the highest contract at the time and after one year starting (2 on campus) his family wanted even more money. Keys will be the same way. He will end up wanting more.

If a kid, or his greedy azz parents, don't see the difference between LSU and Tennessee for a WR prospect, that's on them.

Couldn't have said it better myself. This will be a thing every yr he is on campus.

Plus, I heard Hootie was going to shun us and go to Alabama, and we have to settle for this Jamal Adams chump.

Nothing to do with BK u dummy! At the end of the day these are flipping kids. They chance their mind like a drop of a hat! And now it’s mostly about the money! LSU was offering plenty!

I love the class we have. And we aren't done. Flips happen. Especially with top tier out of state guys.

Terrible take by you!

I woukd have said this even if we lost last night Kelly is a top 5-10 recruiter. That hasn't been our problem the past few years. It was not being prepared for game 1 and the defense being piss poor. Looks like we have defense fixed now. Hopefully we keep Baker for years!!

I wish BK wasn't the coach either

So we are 1-0, just beat a top 5 team on the road, an he seems to be doing as well or better than anyone regarding the portal.

But you wish we had someone else leading the program?

The old way of recruiting is over. BK seems to have adapted better than many.

Just because I wish we had a different coach doesn't mean I won't be pulling for him. I'm not one of those fans who hopes he fails to say "I told you so". This season it appears he hit huge on the portal. I hope that is the case throughout the season. I hope he can maintain mixing portal pulls with HS recruiting.

Last season he regressed. Maybe this year we win it. If we do, I will be pumped for him.

I bet you were pissed when LSU turned it around in the second half. You were having an absolute field day with the negative threads.

I would rather LSU go for coaches that are not as big name, but offer no buyout. That way you can switch year to year until you get someone instead of stuck for 8+ years. I'm sure LSU can find a head coach and offer no buyout.

Recruits at a lower level than O or Les.

Also, this is just factually untrue. BK's last 3 classes have been 5th, 7th, and 9th.

O averaged 6th in his full classes, and that includes his last 3 top 5 classes and his 2018 class, which is probably the worst class we've had in this century when you factor in all the defectors.

Miles averaged almost an 8th overall class in his last 5 classes.

BK is also ten times the coach either of those idiots were.
