Ironically I would it all that you follow recruiting much more than I do. But go ahead and call me a creepy adult for having a opinion.

No, but if it's up to me pull his offer...tired of these attention hounds! If you commit you , you should honor it.

Bull shite. Someone committed and he was given the respect and courtesy of being informed.
He still has a spot, but knows playing time won't be on his side.

I doubt that very seriously.

My guess is that the kid has legitimate interest elsewhere and probably overestimates his position in LSUs class. I think he believes that if he decides in a month that he wants to be at LSU, his spot will still be there.

He wants to feel like he's a priority? Young man, you were offered a full ride to a major power-5 university. That alone says you're a priority. Do you understand how many guys want to be where you are? Stop waffling. If you commit and back off, then your commitment means nothing. That means your word means nothing. It's fine to want to look at your options. But don't commit, if that's the case. Once you're committed, stick with it. It looks bad.

Lol. Josh was small in height, not weight retard. He's considered a big back.

191 at 5'7" isn't a small back. That's akin to someone easily over 200lbs. at 5'10"+

Well, Akers is set to commit tomorrow, so the timeline and respect angle make a ton of sense.

We don't know all the details about his situation, but his choice of words weren't very good.

Something like this at any Top 10 school would be the proverbial "Kiss of Death" for the recruit.

A smarter move by him would have been to do his due diligence on the QT. Not a Twitter bomb. It's an important decision for the young man, and recruiting is a 2 way street. However, as a 3 star with limited Top 5 offers, he really doesn't hold the cards to win here. And certainly not to call out the staff.

I support his decision to look around if indeed the staff told him something. Maybe Moo State can offer him something more (with a lame duck Mullen) , but walking away from a potentially great situation at this late stage is befuddling.

He's got to feel comfortable with his decision, but at the same time LSU can't allow recruits to jack us around this late. At Bama that offer would be withdrawn 2 seconds after his Twitter posted.

Hope it works out for him.

I'm 100% for recruits making sure the program and institution is the right fit. Have no issue with kids staying "open" to get free trips, etc. Not a big fan of a "look at me" guy, complaining that he's not been placed on the highest pedestal.
