The fact that we will have time to assemble a full defensive staff and let them make their best case is the best we can ask for in this situation. It may not be enough, but this is better than ESD, no matter how you look at the situation.

Why? You do realize he's committed to A&M, don't you? If this was an LSU commit announcing he was pushing his singing to February, this board would be freaking TF out.
It's not like a flip was imminent, here. If he didn't push, then chances are he was just going to stick with the Aggies.
Anytime you trail in a recruitment, a delay is a positive.

THIS - exactly what I take from this and other similar plans by uncommitted recruits. Let CBK sort this out after the season and finish this cycle strong with HS inbounds AND selective transfers at key positions.
