Greatest recruiting land I have seen since I began following LSU, in ANY sport. A defining, program-changing recruit.
I agree with this. CJJ needs a raise and an extension immediately. He has already outworked his contract simply by assistant hires and recruiting. Truly amazing.

Just texted Chad Lott (2015). He is excited about this commitment and told me he is seriously considering LSU

My gosh is Johnny Jones doing a great job recruiting!
When we beat out Duke, UK, and Kansas for a recruit, it's like 2000 in football when we started to get players away from Nebraska, OU, Miami, etc.
You just kinda know the worm has turned in your direction.

The kid is only a junior and committed just days after his teammate chose LSU. You know the big boys will press hard on him for the next two years. I hope we can keep him and this isn't just an emotional reflex to commit.
Either way, Johnny Jones is working it on the recruiting trail. It's been a decade since we brought in out of state talent like this. Let's hope they pan out better this time.

Thomas is going to go down to 2015 signing day. But Johnny is connected in Dallas and Thomas is tight with Jordan Mickey's family and Elbert Robinson, so there's a connection.
That's exciting, and the way Jones is recruiting, all he needs is a foot in the door

Great day for the program. Season can't get here soon enough

If LSU can make the NCAA tourny this year and be top 20 all year, I think we start getting a lot more recruits like this in the future. Jones can flat out recruit. I mean, almost John Calipari level recruit considering where LSU was basketball wise when he got here. I was so so on the hire, and I will be the first to say how wrong I was.
