This,or we lose to Arkansas,to knock us out of NC contention. I'd call it a draw?!

Jordan Caillouet - Central Lafourche

6'0 185 lbs, Sophomore (Linebacker)

Season Stats:
80 Tackles, 14 For Loss
5 Sacks
6 Hurries
2 Forced Fumbles
1 Interception

He's Tommy Hodson's nephew.

His other uncle Matt Hodson was a TE at Nicholls.

He's also the cousin of Mike Duplantis (OL - LSU), James Duplantis (TE - Nicholls), & Scott Duplantis (Best baseball player to come out of CL, led Nicholls to NCAA Tourny).

He's the best "ATHLETE" of all the Hodson's and Duplatis's according to some of the older folk that have been watching CL football since before I was born. Next year he'll likely be moved to Quarterback, and should grow a few more inches maybe alot more. All the Hodson's & Duplantis's that I can think of are in the 6'2-6'6 range.

He's also a beast of a baseball player and could end up being a high draft pick if he keeps progressing at the rate he's going. He was all district & all region as a freshman hitting in .400's with quite a few HR's & RBI's.

Karl Dunbar's son is a DT in that class. He's up in Minnesota, but he's somewhere in the 6'2" 290 range as a Soph. I would venture to say that with LSU and NFL lineage and the fact that his dad is an NFL coach with some of the best DTs in the league under his charge that Karmichael will turn out to be pretty good. Being that the kid was born in Opelousas and his dad played and coached at LSU, and with Miles at Oklahoma St, we will have a good chance at getting him, if he turns out to be good enough.

I can give you some scoop out of Texas...

There is a wide receiver prospect out of Austin, named Cayleb Jones, who is the son of former Cowboy Robert Jones and the nephew of former Saints qb, Jeff Blake. He's also the cousin of Emory Blake, a four star player who just finished his freshman year at Auburn.

He was 5A all Central Texas as a sophomore this year and had 17 catches for 298 yards vs. state runner up Westlake. I believe he had several games in which he had over 200 yards recieving.

I've seen him play in person and the kid can flat out ball. I would not be surprised at all if he ends up a five star prospect if he continues at this pace.

There is this 6th grader in Lutcher that can run fast and turn his hips well.

Keep an eye on him. Could be a 5* CB in 6 years.

My grandson is looking pretty good, he's only 9 but he can already catch every nerf ball I throw at him. Could be a prospect.

Has he announced which middle schools he will visit for his 5 officials?

It's really not about posters. It's about the kids. So much can change with them at this point. It's just not a good question to ask.

The kid's name is Devante Bourque. He made MaxPreps sophomore All-American team this year. He is 6'3" and right at 200lbs. He's played RB, but I would think he'll project at WR in college. Also, supposedly he has tranfered to Crowley HS and will play there next season.

LB prospect from Amite also made the All American team as a soph. Juwan Rodgers is his name I think.
