I definitely don't think he should tweet HTT before 1:30 today. I was responding to VolTiger, who was responding to someone asking why we haven't gotten an HTT yet. To which VolTiger responded that Orgeron doesn't say anything until the kid announces. Which is false, O does this all the time. Sometimes it gets pieced together quickly and sometimes it remains a mystery for weeks or longer.

Wrong. He may say “Hold That Tiger” but he never comes out and steals a kid’s thunder before he announces.

There's a difference in telling the coaches you're going to commit to them, and actually giving the commitment. We know that it is going to be us, but he hasn't "officially" committed. If that makes sense. And with a commitment as big as Stingley, you don't want to do anything that might steal his thunder or upset him.

Do you know what hyperbole is?
I actually think Cain is very average relative to Hill, Fournette, and Guice. I think Emery and Davis are closer to the level of those players.

Stingley Jr. I don’t know about you’ll but I’m excited. This kid has the characteristics that we should look for. Can’t wait until he thrives in purple and gold.

However, it’s like people forget (or just straight up take for granted) just how good LF, guice, and hill were when it comes to LSU running backs.. of course a 17/18 year old kid would seem to be ‘average’ when compared to them

I think there are a couple elite backs near that caliber every year. I think Emery is up there and Davis is close. I think Cain is a tier behind. I'd be happy with Davis/Cain though, so don't get me wrong.

I watch his film and think to myself, this guy is not even close to a top 100 recruit. I honestly have no clue what people see in him.
