I'm home and all is well here in Bedico. Prayers sent to everyone out there that are dealing with the aftermath of this Beast.

Hey guys, update on guste island: don't Think water reached into the condos at port Louis but not 100% on that. The houses at the front of guste island did NOT take on any water although the water came a couple of miles up the road. Other than that, TCC and Madison Farm still out of power. I'm currently in river oaks with power, but now have to work in picayune for 8am. Dammit!!

I will post pics from River Oaks soon. Mom says it finally stopped raining, water is slowly going back down, and they have cleaned up mostly in our house area.

Good to hear man, do you have power? Was out that way earlier and looked like most were doing pretty good. On a side note I went with a buddy of mine who's Dad hangs out with crazy arse Shelby from AXmen. He is actually the guy in my avatar. We just missed him. He left Lee's Landing and was headed up river to ride it out in a house boat. He is one of them old hard headed types who thinks he is invincible. I just pray he makes it.

Crazy story there!

We have power. The only thing out is AT&T which carries the home phone and Internet. 3G is fine though. Helluva lot of water out there. Hope everyone makes it ok.

Pics from the Lakefront today about 1pm- water had already gone down about 18 inches.

Water line right below the doorknob

This is zoomed in all the way on my phone, we were about 3 blocks from the lakeshore drive

Looking back towards Monroe street

and 100% true. I probably wouldn't believe it if I hadn't been wading in waist deep water to get to the landing.

Haven't heard man, I will listen to the local station and see what they say. They have been giving updates pretty regularly. I will post in here if I find anything out.

Can anyone tell me which Northshore restaurants have been severely damaged/closed by Isaac? Any updates on Keith Young's Steakhouse in Madisonville, Nuvolari's, etc?
