He can hang out with my Grandmother and the 2 cats. My mom says they've been staring out that window for about 45 minutes right now.

Dang. Hopefully not too bad.

We back up to the Trace, I hope no trees decide to jump the fence.

That sucks.

BTW - Did you build that back patio area? My dad was "that guy" everywhere I lived growing up... He'd throw one in the yard wherever we moved and soon the whole neighborhood was knocking on our door.

Downtown ponchatoula still has power. My parents are on the west side of the overpass and they are out. Winds sustained, but nothing too bad. Sitting on the front porch watching.

It barely missed the garage (where my car is), thank God.

We actually had a relative do the arbor with the fan for about $3K. The stone pavement we had laid down by a company called Mudbug Pavers for about $8K. Looks pretty good when a tree isn't lying on it.

We got a chainsaw, actually, I'm gonna knock that out as quickly as I can so I can enjoy some football this weekend. But thanks for the offer

Stay safe.

And we're right near you BTW. Lakewood Heights to be exact. Still have power too (knock on wood).

Good deal.

Take your time with that thing, as I am sure you know.

Do y'all have Washington for your electricity? My grandma's house is off Lee Road, north of Covington and that's what she had. A light rain would knock the power out. She didn't get power back after Katrina for 6 weeks. Glad we have Cleco in Mandeville.
