i just made some soup. i want to make some ground beef for burritos later. worried i'll start it and won't get to finish.



so is everyone running their AC on high and hoping if they lose power they cool air will last longer? is this a thing?

My parent's house went out in Shenandoah 10 minutes ago but just came back on.

Did that during Gustav... When power came back a week later, a/c was broken Had to get emergency repair

We have ours all the way down in temperature. I'm wearing a jacket and long sleeved jammies

Brrr! But it should be worth it. I suspect the power to go out in most place based on what I've heard.
