This flood is way worse than Allison in 2001. Just had my neighbor cut threw our yard in his bass boat from the river to get to old river rd. hopefully the water stops coming up bc there is only 7 inches before the water reaches the pump in our well house.

According to t.v. The amite river flooding will not be as bad as allison(2001). Projections are 32' in D.S. and 9' here in Port Vincent.

Lots of folks in denham got power back

At my parents in chateau Jon right now and they got it back


I live in greys creek and it came back on too, just not sure what time bc I was at work

It will be worse on the lower river, though it might not on the upper. It is worse right now than it was for Allison...

Current water levels on the Diversion, looks like we are up ~6" from this morning and it is raining again...

Anyone havIng gas issues? Pilot in WHtr won't light for shite. Fireplace getting has downstairs. Town of walker says office closed?

Update: I guess they opened at 1030am. Taken care of.

Think we got power back about same time as you yesterday (& think u r very close 2us...grays creek/south of 12/juban area)
But lost it just before 2am today.
Been going back & forth 2in laws, but about 2bite the bullet on a generator
