Anyone know anything about the storm surges? I heard Lafitte is going to get it a lot worse than originally thought.

how many gas stations and convenience stores in south Louisiana have generators now?

wasn't there a big push for this a couple of years back?

I haven't talked to him in a couple years since he got out of Tigerland. I considered him a "friend" back in the day. He had a stroke about 2 years back you know...

You're saying peak sustained winds of 122mph?

I've been working out in the yard for a few hours and heard nothing of that level of strengthening. I knew it was cat 1 but not high cat 2 on to cat 3.

How many other models are calling for that?

24 - 28 feet to a 20-mile stretch of Mississippi coast. Fully 90 miles of coast from eastern Louisiana to Alabama received a storm surge characteristic of a Category 3 hurricane.

The highest LA got was 16-18 feet in St. Tammany I'm pretty sure. MS got 25+.

Another pressure reading of 970mb I think. Thankfully it decided to do this late.
