I played the day Ike hit here. Winds were consistently about 40mph with huge gusts that day. down wind the ball was going forever. Anything high in the air would go so far you couldn't see it.
Into the wind was a differnt story. hit an 8 iron from 85 yards and the wind ate it up and it fell short. should have gone with long bump and run
