Must be a LOT of power down. The postings on TD are getting few and far between.

And back on...
Power goes on and off and on and off in like, 20 minute periods.

If the reports are correct, over 500,000 outages. That was a little while ago too.

I'm over in Watson on the north side of Livingston. The winds are starting to pick up over here, and there's some drizzling, but not much rain. How's BR looking right now?

I really need this projected path to swing back over to Monroe. I need a day off with a lot of sleeping in the rain.

i believe it...a view of the Entergy map shows NOLA as a big red blob. the only areas wholey unaffected are the quarter and CBD.

Lot of people posting in the area specific threads now whereas beforehand there was just one main thread. Steady wind overnight in Mandeville. Still some gusts but seems to be letting up some for now. Light rain

Fear not....this thing's wide enough to dump rain all over North LA no matter where it decides to track (if it ever decides to leave Houma at all).....I suspect you will get your day off.

I'm right next to LSU and have had nothing too intense yet. I'll post pics from my phone if something crazy happens.
