Hurricane Isaac 2012 is causing trouble especially, however, for the Plaquemines Parish south of New Orleans today. Initial news reports indicated a levee overtopped in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana today. But now KPRC’s Amber Willis reports that Plaquemines Parish situation is getting worse. She tweeted news moments ago “I just spoke with Plaquemines emergency officials. #Isaac has breached the east bank levee. Crews are rescuing trapped people.”

Were hoping, but this intensity has been going all the way since around 1-2 AM and hasn't slacked and weather advisories show it will stay very strong for at least another 6 hours.

You probably have puddled water being blown against your house and into weep holes. Is you flooring directly on the concrete or up on screes(sp?)? If it's up on screes - get yer shop vac ready.

right in the middle of the floor its coming up, went in attic and couldnt find anything. One of my downspouts blew away and I can see a hole forming against the slab where water is going under. Nothing I can do now. Floor already looks like shite.
