I think rm43 would work well. The glyphosate is good but the Imazapyr in there is what’s gonna get the stuff glyphosate won’t. Don’t spray anything with Imazapyr close to a tree.

i couldnt get the RM43 because HD said it was an oder only product. so i bought the bioadvanced brush killer made for vines and shrubs LINK

i spent hours pulling vines and tree sprouts out and then sprayed the whole gallon under the house. from what i understand it takes days to see results but is supposed to work well.

just a followup post and review of the bioadvanced brush killer made for vines and shrubs

i was surprised how easy the sprayer was, its nothing like using a spray bottle that wears your finger strength out fast. its a nice boinus as i can reuse the jug and sprayer for my regular use of eliminator weed killer for the normal maint at the fence line and around the gas meter as well as the driveway

it took about a full week but it all died, had a few spots that i had to respray but im talking one clump of spider grass and the rest was a few straggler spouts that popped up as new growth

i got 2 of those big gallon jugs so i have one left but i doubt i will need to open it for a while

will see over time it it eradicates everything as advertised, but for now, so far, it seems to work as advertised and killed everything from tree sprouts to weeds, to weed grasses

follow up report

i tried using the home depot "Bioadvanced formula" premix ready to spray for killing weeds, vines, and shrubs and that wiped out 95% of all the vegetation under my house, but there were a few weeds that still lived after

i ordered the RM43 now and will see if that kills off the rest of it

i was surprised it takes a mix of 6oz to a gallon of water though

They make products called soil sterilant that kill everything for years, but they can have unintended consequences if they wash into other areas or if the roots of your favorite tree reach their area.

Extension Service: What to Consider Before Using Soil Sterilant or “Bare-ground” Herbicides

The back side of my lot is a drainage ditch so it's just grass that grows up on to my fence and sticks through, makes weed eating a paint and the grass and weeds at some point is going to mess up my fence.

What's my best course of action for killing a 2-3 foot wide strip of grass on the backside of my fence but that won't leak through and hurt my yard?
