Haven't used it personally, but heard good things.

Heavy soap scum will require a razor blade, plus vinegar. Best thing for shower glass is to wipe them dry with a towel after every shower. And know if your water is too soft or too hard.

Zep shower tub and tile cleaner. Depending on the amount of grime, it might take a few applications.

Unfortunately mine was actually etched, and that requires glass replacement
how do you know it's etched or the buildup is just stubborn?

If it doesn't work, using a polisher and cutting polish should help. Look on YT how to use the water spot remover from Chemical Guys. It should not dry up completely when you do it.

I used ceramic wax and am 5 months in with no residual buildup.
Would you share the brand/link?

Be mindful that some of these chemicals will damage any marble if you have that in your shower.

I used MarbleLife soap scum remover on my glass and it works. Takes a bit of elbow grease, but it got rid of the spots and claims it is safe for marble.

There's a product called Enduro-shield you can order from Home Depot. I think it's like a super Rain-x. Lasts for 3 years

Use wax on the faucets also. It will keep them looking good.
