Any of you know what this is? Owners are Chinese if that matters. They grow a lot of them.

Looks to be part of the same family as those trees in Hawaii.

I have limited to zero vegetable id experience but I’ll be damned if that doesn’t look like an English cucumber.

I am not sure of the name, but our Asian neighbors grow the shite out of those things and they have only been in the house for a couple of months. They gave one to my wife but she couldn’t remember what it was called.

Yes. Substitute for squash, zucchini, or eggplant.

Think the one they gave us is Chi Qua or Seng Qua.

They have it growing on a trellis and also growing really high up the trees in the wooded area against the property line.

I'm assuming you mean bitter melon and not luffa? I'm no luffa expert but I don't think there's any you eat right?

Looks more like luffa to me as it has the flower on the bottom.

I have Asian neighbors too and they grow these things. Some kind of squash. On the inside they remind me of an eggplant. I stir fry them or roast them in the oven cut up with other vegs. Peel them. No real flavor. They just take up the flavor of what is around them.

Luffa is very edible. Like most squash the key is picking them early, before they become woody or pulpy.
