Have a generator that hasn’t run since Katrina.
Where can I take it to have it repaired?

Likely carburetor and fuel lines need to be swapped out but not sure. My time is worth wanting to pay someone to do it.

I've heard good things about Angel's on Pecue.
I will probably bring my generator there also.

Make sure you check with them to see if they'll work on it. They only work on brands that they sell.

I was going to say brand is probably important, probably better off taking it to a dealer of that brand that repairs what they sell which most rental/ sales places of small engines do.

It’s a Brigg’s & Stratton 5500.
Did you mean to type Millerville?

Yes Autocorrect got me. He is really good and reasonably priced and always busy. But he only works on Briggs and Stratton.

There is a guy in midcity named marcus who fixed my lawnmower and air compressor. He was fast and cheap. +1 (225) 367-5605

I fixed one that hadn't run since Gustav in less time than it would have taken me to drive it somewhere. Swapped fuel lines, emptied old gas, and blew some carb cleaner in.
