Is a realtor the best way to sell lot because of their network of people??

Anyone want to buy a lot off Highland?!?!

It is on a hill, so it’s fine. Water gets about 5 feet on the back edge of the property which backs up to some wetlands.

I bought the empty lot beside my house in my neighborhood in 2011. It was pretty much the bottom of the market when I bought it.

I sold it a couple of years ago.
I just had a for sale by owner sign in the yard.

That being said, at the time my neighborhood was about to hit a big growth spurt. Houses started selling before they were finished and builders were trying to get any lots they could.

Not necessarily. Put it on Zillow and Facebook. I sold my house that way

From my experience here, it seems lots are low priority for realtors. I guess their commission is so low, thye don't really care.
Further, for some unexplained reason, I have difficulty locating available lots on websites like zillow.

I feel like you probably don't need a realtor for a lot. If you can get the price right it is what it is... dirt. And being able to list yourself on Zillow, redfin, etc. Save yourself some dough.

It's going to be in the proposed St. George area. The lot is 98' x 202'.

I do. We are moving closer to campus because of school and work situations.

What is your risk tolerance? How fast do you need to sell?

It’s the last lot in a neighborhood that backs up to some wetlands. A friend of the family owned it and then moved away, so we bought from him.

I want to sell lot ASAP so we can try to get our house sold as well. Hoping to have it sold before end of summer.

Based on that info I would list it with an agent.
