Running a/c fan all night

Our house has the terrible problem of the air units barely ever run overnight, creates some stale air sitting in our bedroom. The ceiling fan helps some but I'm trying to come up with something other than buying a pedestal fan to help out.
Any issue with clicking the fan to on all night? My thermostat isn't fancy enough to tell it to run 5 minutes per hour or something.

It would wear out the motor sooner just because of run time.
No big deal. Just replace it when it does. Could take years and years.
I have house fans that run 24/7 for at least 14 years.

I'm specifically talking about the fan ont eh A/C unit. Right now it only runs when the compressor kicks on, I'm talking about running that fan all night.

I used to leave mine on all summer. No, there is not going to be an issue with it unless you already have an underlying problem. It made a big difference in my home, much better. You will go through more filters, but thats more crap being filtered out of your air. Very slightly higher electric bill but the blowers dont pull much. The temp in the house will stay more even and consistent with the constant circulation. The compressor will cycle more, which is a bad thing, but piss on it. Get a spare contactor and spare start capacitors and let it rip.
I now have a variable speed unit and the blower runs continuously.

Put a window unit in the bedroom and turn your main unit off for the night. It saves a bunch on electricity bill.

Usually not a great idea with typical duct in attic systems. Most houses have ducts that are leaking air. Most ducts are poorly insulated. Attics usually don't cool down until after midnight.
You're constantly picking up heat from the ducts plus losing conditioned air via the leaks--and that loss of air has to be replaced into the house somehow. That means humid arse June air working its way indoors via every crack and crevasse.
With a perfect sealed system that is well insulated for within the conditioned space? -- go for it.
