Just like the caption says. Not sure if I should tape it up with electrical tape and use it or get a new one.

Use that shite baww. I might tape it if some is handy and I'm not too pissed yet from hanging lights. Otherwise I'm letting that dog hunt.

Youre not so dumb. I did this one time while they were plugged in. Shocked the shite out of me!! Live and learn.

ETA- You can purchase white electrical tape.

Let me guess, the wife asked (told) you to put them up while they were on so she could see how they looked as they were going up. No doubt this was the case

Get a roll of Super 33 from Lowes or Home Depot and tape it. It will be fine.
