MSM Turf- Mystery Calculation?!

After doing some reading I think that my weed garden/backyard needs an application of MSM Turf. The issue is that I see people speaking in teaspoons, ounces, gallons, and grams and then doing conversions. I am thoroughly confused.
Can someone give me a simple explanation for what I need to mix up for 3500Sqft of yard. MSM Turf came with a plastic measuring funnel that has 0.1oz to 1.3 oz.
There was a strong Bermuda base last year, but the weeds are coming up heavily in the last week or so.
I am completely new to this " fancy lawn" thing, but I would like to understand and start getting some nice grass growing for the kids to play on barefoot.

Msm turf scares the bejesus out of me. Read one thing and it’s great. Read another and it will kill every plant, grass, and fully grown tree within a 5 mile radius.

Its like a pinch per gallon. Use a small dosing scale. 2.85 grams per gallon for spot spraying.

I think it's like .08/gallon or something if I recall.

Pro tip - don’t use the measuring cup. If you don’t have a kitchen scale, use these protips:
- If you are spot-spraying weeds, use 1/8th teaspoon per gallon
- if you are blanket spraying, use 1/8th teaspoon per 2 gallons
- don’t forget a few tsp of surfactant
- make sure the pellets dissolve fully in your tank (I like to dissolve them in a water bottle then dump into the tank)
- give it a good 2 weeks before making any judgment because MSM is very slow acting
Good luck!

I bought my MSM turf from Cleggs.
Came with a care instructions print out that's easy.
It also came with a small measuring tube (in oz).
I actually spot sprayed dollar weed and clover yesterday.
1/4 teaspoon (0.0416 oz) MSM turf
plus
2 teaspoons (0.333 oz) of sticker surfactant
per gallon of water.

Have always used 1/8 teaspoon per gallon and spray the entire yard end of March and end of April
