Lowes

I got the 18" Chain saw last year and have been wanting and upgraded trimmer and blower. Are these the decent enough models or is this kit on the lower end?

Nice, the battery on my greenworks blower/trimmer has gone out and I was going to buy a new battery but this brand new combo is damn near the same price as a battery.

Curious about reviews, I'm going to scoop it if they're good.

I have ego blower and chainsaw and love them. Wish I could get the push power.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I guess the wife did something with Rakuten and it popped up with 3% cash back just now. Has anyone dealt with them?

With Battery and Charger.

Basically the battery is around 150 to 190 so you’re getting free blower and trimmer if you bought a battery.

Is one baterry enough to be able to edge and blow an average sized suburb house on a corner lot?

Dammit, I already bought the trimmer and I would love to have that blower. This is an amazing deal, buy it if you're on the fence.

Yes it should get you several hours on a charge. I only have one battery for a saw, pole saw and trimmer and it’s fine

The 2.5 ah battery won't last very long. I have a 2.5 ah, 5 ah, and 7. 5 ah and I don't even charge the 2.5

Damn it, I bought these two separate (with one more battery) for close to $400. Same model blower for sure.

Yes, I can trim and blow my yard which has a lot of concrete and edging, including blowing most of the time on turbo mode, with one battery, usually only using 3 of 5 bars of power.

Had the same combo in my cart at Ace for $229. Glad I saw this post before I pulled the trigger. Thanks

My Kobalt batteries have started going out on me after 5 years so I have been looking at those batteries for a minute trying to hold out for a sale.

This deal is the exact price of the Kobalt battery so I'll probably pull the trigger since my parents love their Ego.

Thanks OP

I've got the blower and a trimmer, they are pretty awesome. Make sure to register them online with EGO in case you have any issues with battery or charger. I had one battergy go bad and they shipped me another one.

I have the blower and it's freaking awesome. It's nice not having to deal with gas.

good catch I didn’t notice that. The 2.5ah battery won’t last as long. However with the fast charger (highly recommended) it’ll recharge in one beer’s time

Yeah if you use the 2.5 Ah on the blower with the Turbo fan setting, the battery will not last that long. This would be PERFECT for a small lot, but it's still manageable for a medium/average size lot, considering you should still have more batteries available in the same ecosystem.

I would probably start out with the 2.5 Ah on the string trimmer to have reduced weight, then finish it out on the blower OR just swap over to a larger battery for the blower.

I just measured on Google earth and I weed eat 1000’ of concrete edge/around my house and blow approx 5000sf concrete on one 2.5AH battery, using 60%-80% of the battery. And again, that’s mostly using turbo on the blower.

I'd recommend getting the flat nozzle attachment. It's better on concrete surfaces and fans out debris better than the standard nozzle.
