I pulled the trigger on this today. I got the last one they had. Great bargain.

I picked it up Friday and used it Saturday. That blower seems like it has more giddy-up than the Kobalt 80v.

At full charge, I was able to weedeat and blow off (turbo the whole time) my front yard/driveway. After that I checked and had 2/5 bars left. I push my backyard since it is a lot nice so I went ahead and charged it in between. The back is mostly weedeating so I'm thinking I could have gone without the charge. I'll try next time.

Overall it was a heck of a deal since I was looking at having to buy a new 80v Kobalt battery at the same price. The Kobalt's trimmer head was beat to hell. I learned after a year or 2 that if you don't take apart the head and knock out the dirt/grass every couple of months that it gunks up and makes it a PITA to release/load string.

One thing I noticed though was that when I went to charge it between use, it gave me the light saying it was too hot (expected since I was just using the blower). I was surprised though that that fan didn't kick on to start cooling it down, only when it started charging did it kick on. You'd think if it was too hot, it would try and cool it down ASAP.

If you burn through the battery quickly, you'll need to wait an hour or two before you put it in the charger. That has happened to me a few times when I'm mowing a thick lawn and want to put my 7.5 Ah back on the charger after running it down quickly.

I would say leave the battery alone and swap over to a different one if you have another EGO battery.

I wouldn't know lol. I got the carbon fiber one with the powerload head that strings it for me. Just feed through and make sure they're even, hit a button, and it winds up the string for me. Does it perfectly when I have to.
