Well it looks like I have been mixing my Foliage Pro incorrectly the entire time Ive used it.
I guess the instructions were too tough for my trade school education.
Instructions are one TSP per gallon per week. One teaspoon. I have been using a table spoon cup to measure it.
I have been doing one table spoon per gallon each week.
It hasnt killed anything. Hard to believe one damn little teaspoon per gallon is enough to do anything

They were not even showing up for me at first. Now I can see them, just small. I think he used the link button instead of the img button.

Foliage pro is an immediately available strong liquid fert. It absolutely needs dilution. I give my lychee tree a gallon of water with half a teaspoon of foliage pro twice per year.

I was getting error messages when I tried to use imbued so I used something else. What site do yall use?

Got an air layer started on the Jalisco Roja guava tree today. I've seen enough and am not waiting until next season to propagate. Easily the best guava I've ever grown. In a year or so I should be able to sell clones.

Anyone have any success growing avocados in Louisiana? I had one come up in my compost pile. I potted it up, and now it’s grown to 2 foot in height.
I’ve read that it’s preferable to get a dwarf variety for potting, but I want to know if I’m wasting my time on my one from the compost pile.

If you want fruit you’ll need to get a grafted tree or an air layer from a grafted tree

Seedling avocados are a gamble. Odds are it’s a store bought avocado variety like Hass. The seed will exhibit traits from both the parent (Hass) and the pollinator. Hass generally does poorly with freezes and its roots have issues in areas with fusarium wilt which is basically the entire southeast. What’s more; it may take 6 to 10 years to produce fruit and what you get may or may not be very appealing. It’s possible that you may have a revolutionary avocado on your hands. It’s also far more likely that you are wasting your time.
If truly interested in having quality avocado at home look at some of the Mexicola and other extremely cold tolerant varieties from a reputable nursery. Varieties like “Fantastic”, “Joey” or “Del Rio”…
