What brand do you baws recommend, and how much PSI do I need to really kick some arse?

I'm just using it around the house so I don't need something professionals would use, but I also don't want to feel like I'm just pissing in the wind when I use it.

Trying to find a good balance between the two, with good quality.

What ya'll got? TIA

Make sure it's at least 3000 PSI...

My wife got me a Craftsman from Lowes, last Father's day, 3k psi and a Briggs engine...Used it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. What surprised me was how quiet it was...

There's no choke, you pull it twice, will always start the second pull. I guess the first pull gets the gas flow.. I dunno...it also came with synthetic oil and they tell you not to worry about changing it, which I thought was weird..

Muh Bad. Didn't realize there even was a Home & Garden board. Either that or I didn't remember.

Mah apologies.

I bought a Honda one from Sam's for about $350. I'm pretty happy with it.

Borrowed a friend’s Yahama Powerstroke 3100 yesterday and it worked great. Cleaned everything I put in it’s path.

Anything over 3000psi. If you’re not concerned with price, buy one with a Honda engine.

Briggs & Stratton engine. I’ve had a pressure washer and mower 15 years and both rolling right along. An abusive service record as well.

Don't just go by PSI. Multiply the PSI and gallons per minute for the true number.

1. Don't buy electric
2. Put only ethanol free gas in it.

Do those 2 things and you'll be good.
