We are all on one acre lots. We let it fly. The neighbor was bagging it and it it took him about 8 hours to mow. He was push mowing it also. Crazy old bastard.
I’d like to bag and mulch but I’m not trying to make a hobby out of mowing.

I only bag when I'm chopping up leaves in the fall. Usually just mulch the grass during the summer unless I let it get unusually high

Depends on the deck and mower and size of lawn. A high quality deck like the John Deere 7 Iron deck or the Scag Velocity deck and just let it fly. Those decks produce the best quality cut around and throw wet or dry clippings like none others around.

I let it fly. Though now I hired my neighbors kid to cut it for 30 bucks. Kid does a good job and he was persistent when he talked to the girl and I. Even said he would cut the first time for free. Good kid, and hard working. Always will support that.

I bag every third cut. Lawn doing great and less weeds.

If you want a healthier lawn mulch it. The nutrients in the clippings go back into the soil. I go a step further and blow the larger chunks apart so they clippings are evenly spread across the yard. Healthiest looking yard on the street.

Bag it. I have a bag attachment so no excuse not to.
Same here. I mean, how long does it take to empty the bag into a black garbage bag? What, 5-8 extra minutes added to the total mow time? Lazy bastards

Yard crew does it.
They have mulching blades in their mowers

I cut 2+ acres. No time to bag all that shite.

Mulch. Letting it fly looks horrible. No grass clumps allowed.

Let it fly on the neighbors yard and on the street like an a-hole.

My lot is two acres as well. A pull behind yard sweeper behind a zero turn doesn’t add much time to a mow. I have a dumping spot in the corner of my lot. Grass clippings take a long time to fill up a big hopper.
It’s the only way to go.

I mulch because the cut grass supposedly provides nutrients to to help the rest of the grass grow. I also cut it more often but at a taller height.
Basically eliminated all of my weeds this year.

Our two inside dogs do their business on spiked chains off of the front porch. If I don’t get those clippings up, that shite ends up getting tracked in the house something awful.

That decision is well below my pay grade.
